CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY


Autodesk Return Policy

Orders placed directly with Autodesk: To receive a full refund for a monthly subscription purchased from Autodesk, you must return it within 15 days of the initial purchase or renewal. For a refund on maintenance plans and annual or 3-year subscriptions, you must initiate the return within 30 days of purchase or renewal.
This policy applies solely to purchases and renewals of subscriptions and maintenance plans purchased directly from Autodesk. This policy does not apply to any other products, services or offerings. Examples of offerings to which the policy does not apply include, but are not limited to, consulting services, platform subscriptions (e.g., Autodesk® Forge), Extra Territory Rights, cloud credits, and membership or similar fees.

Orders placed with a retailer or Autodesk Reseller: Return policies for purchases and renewal charges from third-party sellers such as retailers or authorized Autodesk Resellers can vary by seller. Please contact your seller directly for information about return policies.


Requesting a Refund

To return a purchase placed directly with Autodesk and request a refund, please contact Autodesk Customer Service. Please have your order confirmation email message available to help us process your request. When your refund is approved and processed by Autodesk, typically within 5 to 7 business days, the credit will be issued to the payment method listed in your Autodesk Account. Please contact the card-issuing bank for information about when the credit will post to your account. All access to related software and services will terminate when your refund is processed.


Canceling a Subscription Order

Subscription orders for Autodesk software placed directly with Autodesk online are processed immediately and can only be canceled by contacting Autodesk. If you decide you no longer wish to use or retain access to the software or services to which you've subscribed, you must contact us to request cancellation within 30 days of the original purchase to receive a refund. Access to Data: You will have access to files uploaded to your 25GB cloud storage allocation for 30 days after the subscription end date. After 30 days, your storage allocation will be reduced to 5GB and any files that exceed that storage limit may become inaccessible. See Accessing Files after a Subscription Ends for information about using free viewers.

Canceling Automatic Renewal

Your software subscription automatically renews when your contract expires to ensure you have continuous access to your Autodesk software. You will be charged for a new subscription term on the renewal date listed in your Autodesk Account. See Canceling Automatic Renewal for Subscription for more information.

You can cancel the automatic renewal at any time before your renewal date by visiting your Autodesk Account. You will retain access to software and services until the renewal date but will not be automatically charged for a new term. Access to your software and services will end on your subscription renewal date.


Restarting an Expired Subscription

Subscriptions that expire after the renewal date without payment or subscriptions canceled immediately by contacting Customer Service cannot be restarted.

If you wish to renew access to software and services for a canceled subscription, a new subscription can be purchased. Some Autodesk software products offer the option to purchase a new subscription from within a trial version of the Autodesk software you wish to activate. Launch your inactive subscription software to see if purchase options are available. If this option is not available, new subscriptions may be purchased online or from an authorized Autodesk Reseller.
