Haresh Khoobchandani

Vice President, Sales, Autodesk Asia Pacific

Haresh Khoobchandani is Autodesk’s Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific. As the most senior leader in the region, he is responsible for the strategic direction and overall profitability of one of the fastest growing markets for Autodesk.

Khoobchandani brings with him over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining Autodesk, he ran REA Group’s digital business across Singapore and Malaysia as CEO. He also spent 19 years at Microsoft in various leadership positions including General Manager of Microsoft Business Solutions in Asia Pacific, and Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand.

Passionate about education and driving transformation through technology, Khoobchandani is an Adjunct Professor in several business schools in the areas of business, leadership, driving change and diversity. He is also is a two-time TEDx speaker addressing Redefining Education and Personal Disruption.

Khoobchandani has a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Stirling and is a graduate in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal at the Harvard Business School. He is based in the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters and his hometown of Singapore.

Balaji Kesavaraj

Marketing Head, Autodesk India & SAARC

Proven business strategist and marketing leader, with a long and distinguished track record delivering on all fronts - innovative marketing, high customer satisfaction, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and transformation catalyst. Guinness World Record holder for the largest app development marathon for Microsoft India.

Balaji currently heads marketing for Autodesk India & SAARC and is responsible for the entire gamut of marketing & driving demand for its solutions. He is also part of the India Leadership team responsible for the business growth and meeting revenue targets in the region. In addition, he has a seat in the APAC Marketing Leadership team and drives marketing innovation and campaigns at scale across APAC & Japan.

Prior to joining Autodesk in 2017, Balaji had a long stint in Microsoft India for nearly 8 years. In his most recent role in Microsoft, he was the Director of Platform Strategy & Marketing, responsible to lead the transformation of Microsoft in the country. Prior to this, he was the Director of Platform Evangelism & Marketing responsible for platform and product adoption across 4 Million developers, IT, Professionals & students.

Before Microsoft, Balaji held various roles with Cisco systems, Ogilvy Advertising, ICG Group Singapore & Vaspar concepts and is an IIM Calcutta alumni.

Ben Fischler

Business Strategy & Marketing, Autodesk

Ben Fischler works on Media & Entertainment Industry Strategy at Autodesk. With 25 years of experience in VFX and animation production (Atari, DreamWorks, LAIKA) and product marketing, as well as co-founder of an animation start-up, Ben shares our customer’s creative passion. Ben was focused on Industry Marketing for the Arnold renderer, before taking on his current role.

Vikram Dutt

Senior Director, Building Business Line & Project Delivery, Autodesk

During his time at Autodesk, Vikram has held various roles across Autodesk from Industry Strategy and Marketing, Product and Strategic Planning and Operations. Recently he has held Strategy and Marketing across multiple industry segments leading strategy, marketing and sales enablement. He previously led the Business Models and Pricing function developing business models and pricing strategies to enable Autodesk move from perpetual to subscription and desktop to the cloud.

Vikram is currently focused on the building industry to continue to drive BIM expansion worldwide and introduce cloud and mobile technologies to BIM users. In addition, he is leading the strategy and marketing for project delivery. Before joining Autodesk, he worked at Siemens leading product management and launching strategic initiatives focused on Mechatronics. He started his career developing virtual reality (VR) solutions. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University.

Theo Agelopoulos

Senior Director, Infrastructure Business Strategy and Marketing, Autodesk

Theo Agelopoulos is a Senior Director at Autodesk, where he leads Autodesk’s infrastructure business line. Theo has 20+ years of software industry leadership experience with extensive knowledge in business and industry strategy, digital go-to-market strategy, enterprises sales and business development.

Theo has successfully partnered with leadership teams to launch new products, and business models in the marketplace. He is responsible for developing growth strategies enhancing Autodesk’s long-term competitive position. He oversees industry strategy, industry marketing, product marketing, technical marketing, partnerships and M&A strategy for Autodesk’s infrastructure business. Theo reports directly to the global vice president of AEC business strategy and marketing.

Prior to joining Autodesk in 2008, Theo served as a business development manager for Intergraph (now Hexagon Systems) where he was responsible for developing new market opportunities in transportation. Additionally, he held various technical and senior sales roles during his 13-year tenure. Theo holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Honors) from Monash University (Melbourne Australia).

Bhupesh Lall

For more than 20 years, Bhupesh has worked closely with customers, academicians and students in the manufacturing, architecture, engineering & construction and media & entertainment industries, constantly learning and sharing best practices in the fields of design and make.​

Rajiv Chilaka

Founder & CEO, Green Gold Animation

A dreamer at heart, Mr. Rajiv Chilaka, today wears many hats: an artist, a visionary and an entrepreneur. An alumni of Academy of Art, San Francisco, USA, Rajiv’s vision of being able to create children’s characters and shows that were inherently Indian, took shape with the establishment of Green Gold Animation in 2004. In an industry still in its nascent stages, his journey to build a world class animation studio was punctuated with more challenges than opportunities. Sunil MK

Country Manager, AEC Segment, Autodesk India & SAARC

Sunil was part of the original Revit Team and joined Autodesk when Revit Technology Corporation was acquired in 2002. He has held a variety of business development, sales development, strategy and technical positions at Autodesk and Revit. Mr. Sunil represents Autodesk at different Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry forums. He has been involved in evangelising BIM across Asia Pacific markets since 2001 and has worked with various government agencies driving BIM mandates as well as with various large private organisations. He has also been a key player and spokesperson for delivering smart cities and sustainable vision for Autodesk.

Shekhar Rohira

Kamal Sagar

Kamal Sagar is an architect, designer, real estate developer, restaurateur, and music enthusiast, based in Bangalore, India. With a degree in Architecture from IIT Kharagpur, he started out as an architect at Omni Architects, in Kentucky, USA, before going on to be the founder of his own company, Shibanee & Kamal Architects in 1996. Soon after, he also founded Total Environment, where designs would have no compromise and built close to 2.5 million square feet of high quality, individually customized and furnished space, mostly homes, across Bangalore and Pune. Leading through design and a combination of technology & craftsmanship, each Total Environment home is a sensitively detailed, high-quality space that celebrates nature by embracing it.

He has been recognized with various architectural awards and recognitions for his innovative, cutting-edge designs and for his precision in planning and development of residential areas.

R. VIVEKANANDAH

CEO, Titan Engineering & Automation Limited

Vivekanandah started his career with teaching and later gained experience in Engineering Design, Projects and R&D with some of the leading companies before joining Titan in 1989. He joined the Titan’s watch division as a Maintenance Engineer and has been with the company for the last 30 years. He began the Automation Movement at the Titan watch plant in 1990 with an inspiration from Japan and Germany during his visit. The in-house machine building and automation unit got converted as an SBU in 2005 and later became Titan Engineering and Automation Limited (TEAL), a leading assembly automation company in India. He holds a strong passion for engineering and automation and innovation.

Himanshu Jadhav

CEO, Jendamark India

15 years of successful experience providing strategic, fiscal and operations leadership in uniquely challenging situations.

Himanshu Jadhav joined as a GET in Tata Motors Car plant and worked there till 2008 in Technical Services planning their new product launches and capacity expansion projects. In 2008, he got an opportunity to work with VW, which was a greenfield project and excelled there and climbed the management ladder till 2016. In VW, he was responsible for Strategic Planning and also Head for powertrain projects.

In 2016, he decided the move out of the corporate world and joined Jendamark South Africa as Global Sales Manager.

Jendamark had recently taken over an Indian manufacturing unit and were looking to expand and grow in India.

Himanshu , took this task and swiftly transformed the manufacturing unit into an automation major in India.The company grew from 50 odd employees to 225 in 3 years, with clients from Indian and abroad. The company sales also grew by a staggering 270%.

Currently, Jendamark is pioneering in the Indian market in providing solutions to help India migrate from BS 4 emission norms to BS 6 and revolutionaries the Indian industry with its unique Industry 4.0 solutions.

Dilip Sridhar

General Manager - Engineering and R & D, Brakes India

SA leader and pioneer in the field of engineering design, Dilip Sridhar has over three decades of experience in CAD, CAM, CIM, PLM and IT Systems Administration. He started his career at Brakes India after his Post Graduation and has since then been a champion of enabling businesses to adopt newer technologies and technology transfers for improving productivity and processes in the organisation.

With immense experience from his travel all over the world, Sridhar brings a great level of global expertise. He has published over 100 papers in National and International Conferences, Seminars and Symposiums since 1988. Some of the noteworthy talks include a presentation on 'Expert Systems for Tooling' in 1988 by the National Systems Society. He won the ‘Best Presentation’ award for his very first talk. Since then, he has addressed the Autodesk User Community as a Developer on multiple occasions. AUI 2019 is proud to welcome him back as a Speaker after his insightful talk in 2014 in Mumbai.

Shrihari B Rasal

Devanand V

A Designer, Artist, Director and Technical person, Devanand V is a powerhouse with over 20 years of experience in various roles. He has headed multiple departments and phases of production at Toonz Animation Studios, India and other leading studios like Crest Communications, Mumbai and Pentamedia Graphics, Chennai. With a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, he has held various positions from Asset Head to Technical Director on iconic projects with branded broadcasting houses like BBC, Sony Animation, Telegael, Method Films & Illusion Studios and has worked on educational and corporate videos for stalwarts like Tata Steel. Anoop is an animation/VFX technologist with over a decade of experience in the industry. He currently works as Pipeline Supervisor at Tau Films where he is responsible for architecting Tau's globally distributed pipeline and manages a team of Pipeline TDs and Developers across different studio locations in Asia and North America. Before joining Tau Films, he was associated with Dreamworks Dedicated Unit and Rhythm & Hues Studios, where he contributed to their production pipeline development.

He has been with Larsen & Toubro Ltd since 2005 and prior to this, he has worked with ABB Limited and Alstom Projects India Limited for about 9 years. He is a member of ISHRAE and professional interests include state of the art CAE technologies (CAD, CFD and FEA). Currently, he is working as Chief Engineering Manager, responsible for CFD analysis in MEP design related to commercial buildings and airports in L&T Construction, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Chennai. He has been using Autodesk CFD Simulation software in AEC applications such as thermal comfort, Data Center Cooling, basement car park ventilation, DG room ventilation effectiveness, Rain water-free surface flow for roof design, and Smoke simulation in buildings in the design stage as well as for troubleshooting. He has published 4 nos. of technical papers in international journals of repute and has been a speaker at technical conferences including AU 2017 and AU 2018 US.

Arun Venkadesh

An early adapter of the technology in Design Engineering with Masters in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Anna University, Chennai. Worked with multiple disciplines in the initial days of a career with Larson & Toubro Construction and led modeling team for Material Handling division and now heading the BIM team of Water Business at L&T. Arun carries end-to-end responsibility in Strategizing, Implementing, executing, Training and enabling BIM in WET IC of L&T Construction. He is also implementing BIM Mandated projects for Water / Sewage/ Effluent Treatment plants and also involves in various Area developmental projects with combined utility for smart cities through BIM.

Being techno-savvy BIM manager he laid the foundation for BIM Process workflows, onboarding entire team on BIM & Digital Prototyping (DP) platforms to start the delivery in Equipment modeling, Plant & Processes, Architecture, and Structural detailing & Data Management

Amin Nayyar

Mr Amin Nayyar is an architect and the Director of ANA Design Studio Pvt Ltd. He leads a team of 35 architects and engineers, providing service to global clients. He is on the panel of the technical examiners for the School of Planning and Architecture; IP University, Delhi; Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and the Technical Arbitration panel for Bosch, India.

Mr Nayyar also designed India’s first LEED Gold certified laboratory for Religare at Beas, Punjab and other complex building designs for industrial medical laboratories in India, Dubai, Nepal, Nigeria, and Sultanate of Oman. Venugopal Nanjan

Venugopal Nanjan is a veteran in the interior fit-out and engineering design industry with an experience of over 30 years across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Venu is the CEO of the Centre of Excellence (COE) of S&T set up in India to serve the S&T operations globally.

With his foresight on using technology as an enabler, Venu was the key player in launching the COE in 2013 as an engineering excellence centre—the premium cloud-based CAD outsourcing technology-driven engineering services. He heads the design centre and is an advocate of implementing futuristic solutions like BIM and new collaboration technologies to create a competitive edge in the AEC industry. Jaykar Arudra

VFX Supervisor, Double Negative

Jaykar Arudra is a VFX Supervisor at DNEG in Mumbai, who has most recently worked as a VFX Supervisor and Shoot Supervisor on 'Brahmastra', Ayan Mukherji’s much-awaited Bollywood superhero movie. Prior to this, Jaykar has worked on ‘Venom’. He has also worked as DNEG’s VFX Supervisor on 'The Hurricane Heist’, Rob Cohen's disaster-thriller, which was released in early 2018.

In his previous role as CG Supervisor, Jaykar has worked on movies such as Walt Disney’s futuristic sci-fi sequel 'TRON: Legacy' and has also supervised the Universal Studios theme park ride ’Skull Island: Reign of Kong’.

He started his career in 2003, and prior to his work as a VFX Supervisor, he worked on films such as 'Dylan Dog: Dead of Night', 'Raabta', 'Bombay Velvet', ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ and 'Delhi 6'. He has also worked as CG Supervisor on many game cinematics for Blur Studios and Sony Animation.

Sharathchandra Aithal

Sharatchandra Aithal has been using Unity 3D for over 11 years spanning from Gaming to the Non Gaming segments of the industry. He started his career as a Game Tester. While testing games, implementing process automation at work by day, by night he used to learn how to build his own games using the power of Unity. He has been an active influencer for many young minds to pick up unity as a skill set by mentoring a number of Educational Institutions. Previously as an entrepreneur, he has delivered a multitude of projects in the XR space. Sharatchandra is also amongst a few people who use the power of Real-Time 3D for projection mapping and on-stage visuals. Sharatchandra is currently a Field Engineer at Unity Technologies.

Biren Ghose

Country Head, Technicolor India

Biren Ghose is the Country Head in India for Technicolor. The company is a US $4.5billion global arts and sciences leader involved in technology and production services for the media & entertainment industry. He is an acknowledged industry leader in India in government policy formulation and advocating education. His vision is to make visual communications & the arts an agent of change in the economic and community development in India.

Biren has been responsible for building up the India studio. This is now a primary hub for Technicolor’s leadership in Animation, Visual Effects, and Games.
