The electronics giant Xiaomi made a big splash when it unveiled its Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan, which boasts a potent 495 kW twin-motor system and a sizable 101 kWh CATL Qilin battery that promises an amazing 800 km range.
Xiaomi SU7 appeares in Stores across China a Day after Launch
Less than a day after its significant introduction, the SU7 quickly became visible at Xiaomi retailers, demonstrating the company’s high standards. Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, established high expectations when he said that deliveries will start in the first half of 2024 and mass manufacturing would follow shortly after.
Xiaomi’s flagship store in Beijing hosted the debut of the SU7, which set the standard for future displays at other stores across China. However, not all retailers seem ready to welcome this electric guest. For instance, the Mi Home store in Foshan cited space limitations, implying that Xiaomi might have to modify its retail design strategy.
