Hyundai i20
The i20’s facelifted model has been observed undergoing testing multiple times on Indian roads, suggesting an upcoming launch in the coming months. This refresh will serve as a mid-life update for the premium hatchback, featuring minor cosmetic revisions inspired by the recently released Euro-spec i20. While the existing powertrain options will remain unchanged, there is a possibility of new features being added to the vehicle’s list of offerings.
Hyundai Verna N Line
The latest Hyundai Verna, which was launched recently, has been a successful addition to the market. There are rumors of an upcoming N Line variant for this midsize sedan, as it has been spotted during testing. The N Line version is expected to have sportier looks and improvements in its mechanics, including a reinforced suspension. It will likely be available exclusively with a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, producing 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with either a six-speed intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Inside, the N Line variant may feature red highlights and N Line branding to enhance its sporty appeal.
Hyundai Exter
Hyundai has announced that the Exter, a micro SUV, is scheduled for an official launch on July 10, 2023, in the domestic market. It will directly compete with the Tata Punch. Positioned below the Venue compact SUV, the Exter shares its platform with the Grand i10 Nios and Aura models. Hyundai aims to offer a feature-packed vehicle, with even the base variant equipped with six airbags for enhanced safety. Powering the Exter will be a familiar 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, which can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Additionally, Hyundai plans to introduce a CNG variant. Notable features of the Exter include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital cluster, connected features, and more.
