Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026: Best Phone Deals Revealed

Amazon fired first with its Great Indian Festival numbers, and now Flipkart has answered. The Big Billion Days 2026 dates are official: early access opens at midnight on October 8 for Plus members, VIP members and Flipkart credit card holders, and the sale opens for everyone on October 9. Flipkart has not announced an end date yet, but the pattern from past years points to roughly a week of deals.

This is the sale that decides festive-season phone buying for a huge chunk of India, so here is what is actually worth your attention, with Flipkart’s own announced prices and the catches spelled out.

iPhone 17 leads, but read the asterisk

Flipkart has put the iPhone 17 from Rs 79,999 on its sale page. That is a real cut against the Rs 99,900 listing, and with exchange bonuses going up to Rs 89,850 on eligible old devices plus no-cost EMI from Rs 8,667 a month, the effective price drops further for upgraders. But notice the asterisk on Flipkart’s page. These are opening floors on specific variants, not guaranteed prices across the range, so do not walk in expecting the 512GB model at that number. (And yes, I checked. The asterisk is doing a lot of work here.)

The smarter Apple buys might be one rung down. The iPhone 16 starts at Rs 51,999, and the iPhone 15 is listed at Rs 63,999 with the bank discount, down from Rs 74,900. If you do not need the newest chip, the 16 at that price is the value pick of the three.

Motorola put nine phones on the block

Motorola has gone the loudest this year with a dedicated deals microsite and nine discounted phones. The Moto G06 Power drops to Rs 13,999, the G37 and G37 Power sit at Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999, and the G77 Power lands at Rs 20,999. In the Edge 70 line, the Fusion is Rs 29,999, the Pro Rs 36,999, the Pro Plus Rs 44,999, and the Edge 70 Max hits Rs 51,999 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a QHD+ display and 25W Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging. The flagship Motorola Signature rounds it out at Rs 57,499 after cashback.

The Edge 70 Max is the standout of this list. Nothing else under Rs 60,000 pairs that chip with proper wireless charging, and Rs 3,000 off an already aggressive price is genuine. The budget G-series cuts are smaller, Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,250, so treat those as nice rather than unmissable.

Poco and Redmi bring the volume

Poco’s full catalog is discounted. The Poco X8 starts at Rs 24,999, the X8 Power at Rs 29,999, and the Poco X8 Pro at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, which is Rs 6,000 off and the strongest mid-range deal in this entire sale. The X8 Pro Max starts at Rs 42,999. Lower down, the Poco M8x is Rs 17,999, the M8 Power Rs 20,999, the C85x Rs 13,999 and the C81x Rs 11,999. Redmi contributes the Note 15 SE at Rs 22,999, Rs 3,000 off.

Stack the bank offers or leave money behind

The headline prices are only half the story. Flipkart’s bank stack this year: up to 10% instant discount on Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards, 10% off your first transaction via Supermoney, a flat Rs 1,000 off with Flipkart EMI, a flat Rs 500 off with Flipkart Pay Later, and 5% off Flipkart gift cards bought via UPI. Some of the announced phone prices sit close to current street prices, so the bank discount is what actually makes them deals. Pay with the wrong card and you are basically buying at MRP with extra steps.

The verdict: three phones worth your money

If I had to pick three: the Poco X8 Pro at Rs 33,999 for the best mid-range value, the Motorola Edge 70 Max at Rs 51,999 for the enthusiast pick, and the iPhone 16 at Rs 51,999 for Apple buyers who do not chase the newest badge. Everything else is worth a look only after you stack a bank offer on top.

Flipkart is also running a Curtain Raiser with BBD prices on select products since around October 3, plus hourly countdown cheat sheets and discount passes you can buy in advance for extra drops in electronics. Compare the numbers against our Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 deals coverage before you commit, since the two sales overlap and the better price flips by model. And if you are cross-shopping the just-launched Vivo V80 at Rs 62,999 against the Edge 70 Max, our OPPO F35 vs Vivo T5 comparison shows how we judge this price band.

One last thing: prices go live at midnight on October 8 for early access, and the genuinely good units in past years have sold out within hours. Make your shortlist tonight, not tomorrow morning.
